Armed soldiers carrying guns should stay away from social services. Furthermore, the militants deployed by the self-proclaimed government body of the PP are afraid to go alone and are moving by public transport with the peaceful people who are conducting their own lives. They are going to use civilians in the war zone as a cover to drive a defeated propaganda that civilians have been injured.
therefore
public servants, especially drivers of the people you want, stop loading government troops.
Our people, stop walking on the streets carrying armed men.
Although the system is responsible for any subsequent damage, we would like to remind our people to beware of this in view of the potential dangers.
In many areas controlled by the OLA, the fascist Abiy government fighters are entering the battlefield by using the tactics of sharing transportation with the civilian people. for example, in North Showa, they are doing this in many places in Abootee and Darraa distric as well as in west Showa areas
Ethiopia’s real side: All aspects of Ethiopia tale is shrouded with lies and uncertainty. Instead of saying Ethiopia is never colonized it would have been correct to say Ethiopia is the only colonizer African country during the Scramble for Africa helped by imperialists. The five years occupation by Italy should not also be overlooked. One of the powers that helped create empire Ethiopia, UK reinstituted her over the colonies after Italians left, against several protests. It is mind boggling not to hear anyone questioning statements that “Ethiopia, and Liberia are the only two African countries never colonized” hiding that both were colonized by Blacks. Is it not racism to see colonies under black colonizer to be different from those colonized by Whites and so treated differently? That is why plight of the Oromo fell on deaf ears. Oromiyaa is different country from Ethiopia. It is the assumption that Oromiyaa is natural part of Abyssinia that is making it difficult for discourses in the region to reach common understanding. But for colonial relations, Oromo has no more affection for Ethiopia than it has for Kenya, Somalia or the Sudan. Except with Agawu, Tigraaway, Argobba, Bartaa and Gumuz and others, Oromiyaa does not have let alone country, borders with Amaaraa, for Amaaraa has no land as a group, it has been ruling class eclectically formed over centuries. The highest formation being the Nafxanyaa System of last century.
Up to 1974 Ethiopian colonial government and Habashaa warlords possessed Oromo land with few pieces allotted to their local agents, indigenous clan leaders. After 1974 it was declared land belonged to the government changing Ethiopian feudal land relations. Government here means unitary government of Ethiopia. But, for the colonized nothing changed, land remained still in hands of aliens. Since then, resettlement from the colonial motherland to change demography of the region or ethnic cleansing increased. And land became lucrative source of income for corrupt colonial officials under the guise of master plan, development, investment, and lease. This does not include the increase in holy water and holy Taabot sneaking and land grabbing by Amaaraa missionaries. All governance policy and propaganda were geared to enforce Amaaraa supremacy without which it cannot survive. It is for such survival that Amaaraa nafxanyaa elites are clinging to Isaayyaas to revers effect of fifty years revolution Seventy years ago, all text books and songs were about greatness of the emperor and Ethiopia, nothing about the colonized. They were considered as subhuman not worth mentioning in human history. Those songs are what Abiy wanted to sing for Oromo again. With Oromo children the intended brainwashing for assimilation did not fully go through for not understanding the language of instruction. Revolutionary thought that crept in the 60s easily kicked out whatever Ethiopian nationalism schools tried to implant on tender Oromo minds. Qubee later buried it deep. For Amaara children that was a process of their political socialization and sunk in properly. That is probably why they resist any change in adulthood, however educated they may be. They even dream of long imported “Fidel” back into Oromo life.
The Darg continued stressing absoluteness of empires unity” and “One Ethiopia or Death!” slogan. That only led to its downfall. After the Darg Amaaraa supremacy is struggling to come back. Amharic and the tricolor flag remain official. If at all there is going to be union of the willing, supremacy of these must end for language and colors of all members must equally be respected. The forces that came after the Darg, which were mixtures of colonized and colonizer elites, came to common understanding that they cannot continue with past political, social, and economic tradition. In the transitional Charter idea of democratic union of the willing was introduced. That derailed Amaaraa ambition of nafxanyaa system restoration. But the forces failed dismantling the empire state which was necessary for viability of such union. For the moment, the Transitional Charter saved the empire from breaking up violently. But flip flopping of TPLF/EPRDF cut short the new partnership. However, though many were kicked out the idea of democratic union was extended to federal constitution that recognized “right of nations to national self-determination up to and including independence” In 2018 many rejoined the so-called transitional period because of that provision. Amaara elites rejected it totally calling it anti-Ethiopia, which means anti-Amaaraa.
Amaaraa has no land to identify with as a group, so they formed “Amaaraa Land Restoration Committee” to try snatch land they have never owned from others and identify with. Co-owners of “Amaaraa region, ”Agawu, Qimaant and Oromo are demanding to form their own autonomous region. When those are realized, there will be no Amaaraa region. On this issue, nations, nationalities, and people that adhere to principles of the constitution and Amaraa Nafxanyaa ruling class are entering into irreconcilable conflict. For the Oromo empire state is still the enemy. It is led by PP and all others like Amaaraa Faannoo and militias and Eritrean security are its sub groups. The empire is created by Amaaraa and even today it is being guided by Amaaraa thought. “Harreen wal dhiitti malee ilkaan walirraa hin fixxuu” (Donkey kick each other but never affect each other’s teeth) goes Oromo saying. Oromo fans of the regime will retreat home when they realize the reality except those who hate and have contempt for their own people. All aliens’ internal skirmishes are to get better access to Oromo land and resources. That is why Isaayyaas wanted to tie knots with Abiy and Farmaajoo. Each Oromo person should pay attention to this reality and foment all hate and spite against each other within own national camp stopping to be tool for aliens. With Oromummaa they win everything for their people but joining alien plunderers at best they may get hand out from their own wealth. Oromo love peace, but for those that despise them they know how to use spears and shields and more to be respected; not to be feared like the enemy. Oromiyaan haa jiraattu!

The fault of some Oromo nationalists is that they recognise the rotten empire called Ethiopia as a ‘state’. While Ethiopia is not a formal state using Ethiopia as a state by it self is a mistake, and similar mistake leads the regions of horn Africa to Important crisis!
In Ethiopia Oromo nationalism is known as the enemy of the empire unity and they try to dismantle Oromo nationalism for the past 60+ years. When ever the Oromo struggle becomes strong the empire is downgraded to fracas! So Ethiopia can’t accept the identity of nations and treat equally the nation’s!
As Oromo we have accepted that federalism, con federalism and other methods was the science of modern colony!
The Abssinians have sick of Oromo of phobia, b/c they know Oromo as the main enemy of Ethiopia or their fathers empire. When Oromos are well organised and strength their power they try to sterilise the Oromos force. One of the methods they use allways is to dissipate Oromo force by inviting Oromos to negotiation before the Organised Oromo force enters the final war!
They dissipate the Oromos and OLAs more than three times with similar method!
The only solution for Oromo is a War to be accomplished! B/n negotiation with out a victory and distraction is a fool game! When you attack and harm the imperialist and dictators benefits they pray for you to deal and negotiations!
Know as OLA we are not entered the war with our full power we lost long time on organising our force, now it’s time to punish the enemy of our people’s it’s not fake arbitrations!
Even if negotiation is needed OLA is an independent front that have its own political, diplomatic, economic and military wing! We have our own representatives, we never give a chance for sellouts that deny Oromos benefit and Oromos soldiers for the sake of comfortable life!

The Oromo Liberation Front—Oromo Liberation Army (OLF-OLA) condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the killing of civilians in Tole Village of Gimbi district in the West Wollega Zone of the Oromia region. Despite the genocidal regime’s malign misinformation and propaganda campaigns, the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA), as a political party and liberation army, was committed to its singular objective of emancipating the Oromo people from multilayered suffering under successive repressive regimes thereby ensuring sustainable stability in the Horn of Africa region.
There is no political or military objective, none whatsoever, that our army would generate by targeting innocent civilians. As repeatedly indicated, the OLA fights with systems of oppression, now led by the Prosperity Party of Abiy Ahmed, not with individuals, much less defenseless innocent civilians. We do everything in our power to protect civilians, Oromo and non-Oromo alike, and we are putting our lives on the line for their liberty and dignified existence in a country that has disregarded their basic rights.
It has now become obvious to any close observer that the Abiy regime uses the OLA as a scapegoat for any atrocity crimes it commits against civilians many of which have become undeniable against mounting evidence, and have consequently been conceded by the regime through the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) reports. Often, the regime perpetrates premeditated and unprovoked attacks on civilians for the sole purpose of disparaging the OLA. If recent memory serves us well, the massacre of the our Karrayyu Gada eleders, the truth of which escaped between the regimes’ fingers in a matter of weeks, was masterminded primarily to defame the OLA. The current massacre in Tole of West Oromia is no different. The regime organized a militia group called “Gachana Sirna” meaning “the guardians of the regime” that wear artificial wigs to impersonate members of the OLA and commit atrocity crimes in Oromia. While disparaging the OLA is the major goal across all crimes the regime commits in Oromia, the current attack in Tole has other specific objectives:
After the recent joint operations of the OLA and GLF in Gambella had been completed, the regime begun a killing spree targeting Oromo civilians across the city of Gambella in the usual retaliatory attack. Gambella Special Forces, Federal Police and associated régime security apparatus have been hunting down Oromo civilians and extra judicially executing them in broad day light. Social and conventional media abound by evidence of execution of Oromo civilians for in Gambella. Evidence that undeniably implicate the regime in the killings of civilians in Gimbi and many localities of central Oromia was also coming out in recent days. The regimes engineered the current massacre in Tole to cover the headlines regarding the Gambella and other Oromo Massacres.
A horrific video in which members of the regime’s army and associated militia group massacre civilians in Wollo during the so called “Menelik Campaign” —very likelycommitted in late December of last year, has also circulated on the social media since 17thof June. The crime was perpetrated by both the regular Ethiopian security forces and the Fanno militia and, at the time of the crime, the Fanno militia was under the regime’s army command. The Abiy government has to engineer the Tole massacre to change the headlines from the Wollo Oromo Massacre.
There is international pressure on the regime to organize an inclusive peace process to resolve the Ethiopian civil war. Unlike Tigray, the Prosperity Party wants to be the only voice representing the Oromo people in any possible peace talks. To that end, the regime is attempting to denigrate the OLA to deny the Oromo Cause spearheaded by OLA any voice on the international stage, and any seat on the possible peaceful resolution of the Ethiopian civil war.
Independently verifying what happens in West Oromia by credible third persons is virtually impossible. The regime has blocked the region from the rest of the world, in an attempt to prevent the international community from finding out the atrocity crimes that it commits. It keeps the region in the dark precisely to conceal its crimes and, despite the deafening silence, many in the international community know it. As always, OLF-OLA calls for independent investigations into the alleged atrocity crimes committed in Tole areas in West Oromia.
As we have repeatedly indicated in our prior press releases, we reiterate our call for ANY credible independent investigation not only into the current allegations but also all previous ones so that perpetrators are held accountable, serve justice to the victims, and adequately compensate their families. Stabilizing the Horn begins in Oromia!
Victory to the Oromo and all oppressed people! OLF-OLA High Command June 20, 2022
