Many Oromo peoples failed under hunger due the war declared on Oromo peoples by the regime.

Wallo Oromos failed under famine

Yes, our people are suffering a lot from one corner to the other. No food and no shelter. But most of us choose to give only to the known people.

Eviction, after eviction; burning of their homes, assets, crops in the field, killings and throwing their Holy body to forest and eaten by wild animals have become Oromos fate since Abiy Ahmed came to power. Those who survived the red terror from Gujii and Boron are now returning to their community, but they need not only food and shelter even psychological help. Starvation is widespread all over Oromia for example in Gujii, Borana, Arsi, Dambi Doloo and Walloo. In some districts in Borona people are dying from starvation.

In the video, Obbo Liban who newly returned to his Community Dhuuqo in Gooroo Doola district, in Gujii Zone is briefing the devastating life he and his people have gone through.

According to Liban, “the community was destroyed beyond repair. The Government soldiers dislocated them, burned their homes and farms, leaving them homeless and exposed to man-made starvation. He mentioned there is no school (destroyed by the Government soldiers), the imprisonment rate is high, and the people in the community were tortured and terrorized by the Government soldiers. Children and women were being raped! The Government soldiers were targeting and killing people in the community – more like ethnic cleansing. There is no road, no houses, no schools, nothing! We are in the process of rebuilding now that they have left. No one cares, and no one listens to us. Thank you for letting me speak!”

Human Rights Watch United Nations and other humanitarian institution should have to save the innocents attacked by manmade famine.
